Social Protection and Economic Development (SPED)

Social Protection and Economic Development (SPED)

The program seeks to advance ARDD’s commitment to social and economic rights for everyone, regardless of their legal status or socioeconomic background, while fostering inclusive, sustainable, green, and fair economic growth in Jordan.

The program follows a three-pronged approach to enhancing these rights:

 1- Research for enhanced evidence-based policy-making.

2- Evidence-based Advocacy to advance economic and social rights.

3- Social Dialogue to foster democratic governance on economic and social rights.

ARDD is a co-founder of the Inclusive Social Security Policy Forum (ISSPF), a network and space for civil society organizations and individuals across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region challenging the dominant narratives and making the case for inclusive social security.

ARDD’s Human and Economic Development Forum (HEDF) is primarily focused on engaging with socioeconomic issues by conducting and commissioning specialized policy studies, sustainably disseminating the findings, and lobbying for positive change via state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.
