Albanese, an advisor to ARDD’s Renaissance Strategic Center’s “Migration, Forced Displacement and Statelessness” program and a vocal voice for international law and human rights, spoke to the global conscience, articulating her legal perspective on the Israeli atrocities committed in Gaza.

The purpose of this plan is to fill UNRWA’s funding gap by the end of March 2024 by establishing a ‘Good Donorship Forum’ to leverage defunding donors to resume funding to UNRWA, by highlighting, among others, there there was insufficient intelligence information about the allegations against UNRWA staffers when they made the decision to defund.

Dudin stressed the need to work on projects for a unified Arab narrative to capitalize on the commonalities between Arab countries and the capabilities that can support one another to make Palestinian voices heard, as the occupier’s narrative is stronger at the global level and goes beyond the limits of the Israeli presence in Palestine.

The GNQP welcomes the International Court of Justice’s interim order in response to South Africa’s application instituting proceedings against Israel alleging violations of the Genocide Convention for its actions in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023 (South Africa v Israel), issued on 26 January 2024. The judgment recognizes the plausibility that Israel is committing acts that constitute genocide under the Convention (para. 54), and that there exists a real and imminent risk of irreparable harm to the rights protected under the Convention (para. 74).
