Mariam is the Center Coordinator and a Senior Researcher at the Renaissance Strategic Center. Previously, she worked as gender expert for the Center of Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. She taught courses on international politics, developments, and history of colonialism at the University of Jordan and American education abroad programs in Amman. Such as AMIDEAST and CIEE. Mariam has been awarded the Marie Curie Post-Doc Fellowship at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage University of Ca Foscari, Venice (Italy) and at the department of Anthropology at UC Davis with ties to the program in Middle East/South Asian Studies. Mariam received her Ph.D. from the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford, UK and her MA in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), UK.
